Less than 5% of the total donations received by CFA are spent on administration, and all the directors of the CFA board work pro bono. This means that more than 95% of the donated amounts are used directly for the benefit of stray animals in Coimbatore, India, where CFA's main beneficiary, the Humane Animal Society (HAS) are carrying out animal birth control and anti-rabies drives, rescuing abandoned and injured animals, rehabilitating and re-homing rescued animals, providing permanent accommodation and care at the HAS Sanctuary for animals that are awaiting adoption, and developing material for education and outreach, which are crucial, if, eventually, all sentient beings are to be treated with dignity and respect.

To support CFA, please use one of the following methods to make a donation. After receiving your donation, we will forward a receipt via email. This makes your donation eligible for claiming tax exemption in the United States. No amount is too small.

Quick donations

Quick donations can be made as a one-time donation or a recurring, usually, monthly donation. You can make the donation by credit or debit card, through your bank account or via various payment apps. Legacy donations

CFA's Endowment Fund is funded by donors who have joined CFA's Legacy of Caring Programme, by giving a planned gift, an estate bequest, a gift annuity, a charitable trust, or a charitable of gift of life insurance. These donations are invested to provide a life-time of benefits for the rescued animals.

Virtual adoptions

A virtual adoption is a way to support an animal's needs without physically adopting the animal. It is particularly useful for people whose life circumstances don't allow for the actual adoption of an animal. You will receive relevant updates about your animal, and you are always welcome to visit your adoptee in Coimbatore.
